Remembering someone!

August 2006 , I joined Infosys Bangalore and used to travel from Yelahanka to electronic city daily in the office bus. It used to be quite early in the morning where a home sick me used to stick to the window seat in the bus and speak to my parents. A week in, a friendly face started smiling and started wishing me good morning daily! One day when the bus had to stop at hebbal, the friendly face came over and introduced himself saying he is a Telugu guy and listens to me speaking to my parents daily and wanted to know if I can go alone or join him in the auto to Yelahanka. Thus started a small friendship with him who always used to wish me and talk in our native language sometimes.

Those days Bangalore FM was full of mungaru malaye songs....He used to translate the songs for me and used to suggest songs which he thought I might like. Those were the days of orkut and we friended each other and also that was the most happening time for me as i was just starting my career and have a amazing group of friends! On my birthday that year he mailed me in the office email a translated version of a song "Hudugi Hudugi" from Aishwarya movie wishing me happy birthday and how he associates me with that song and how his morning brightens up as soon as he sees me.

That email sort of made me slowly stop speaking with him as I was bit vulnerable at that time and didn't want to get life complicated and as days passed by I moved out of Yelahanka and our passing encounters in office campus were a mere hi's and bye's which slowly ended with mere nods. Then he moved to Japan for a project and I moved to Hyderabad and his name was in my office messenger contacts and used to exchange occasional wishes. As days passed by I don't remember when I last thought of him or spoke with him.

Today, my YouTube auto playlist played the song Hudugi Hudugi and all those memories came up.
I THOUGHT of reconnecting and checked for his profile in LinkedIn and found his Facebook profile......Remembering ________!
His account is memorialized to remember and celebrate his life!

How fickle the life is.......he must be around his 30's!
